摘要

现代大学定位面临着事业与产业、象牙塔与中轴机构、学术自由与政府干预、教育者与服务者等概念的冲突和实践的两难困境。前者要求大学超然物外

后者要求大学的社会介入

对其中任何一种取向的偏好都会影响大学的正常发展

化解这一困境的前提是要明确现代大学的应然定位。强调大学的文化定位

是大学在发展中立于不败之地的关键。

Abstract

The orientation of modern university is in a dilemma facing with the contradiction of the public welfare and industrialization

the ivory tower and the middle axle organization

the academic freedom and the government intervention

the pedagogue and the service provider.The former request university is aloof;the latter request university involves the society.The preference of either of which will affect the development of a given university.The way is to attach much importance to the orientation of university.The key to stay alive in university development is the stress of the university culture localization.
