Abstract

Onlooker images have become an indispensable part of the portraits in Chinese literature and as a result produce a significant and far-reaching impact on later literary creation. Under the influence and guidance of Lu Hsun

Leftist writers not only carried on the onlooker images in their novels

but also further developed them.Besides consciously drawing nutrients from Lu Hsun’s novels

they adjusted onlooker images based on their class stand and times context

so they created more complicated and deepened onlooker images which brought new experiences and feelings for readers

and revealed the message of class struggle and times change as well.
