Abstract

The migrant working novels have been taking on the prominent counter-discourse characteristics. They always distanced themselves from mainstream culture from the very beginning

even questioned and betrayed it as well.Rather than neglecting

discriminating and concealing the migrant workers’ working surroundings

the migrant working novels timely and deeply present them. The migrant working novels are honest to the narrative objects and pursue the artistic reality. So we think that the counter-discourse nature of the migrant working novels should be highlighted because of its important aesthetic value and literature history meaning.
