On The Relationship Between the College Students’ Separation-Individuation and Self-identity
This study revised the Chinese version of the separation-individuation scale
and investigated the relation between separation-individuation and ego-identity according to a recent survey conducted by 1 131 college students.The results showed that:(1) the Chinese version of separation-individuation scale has good constructive validity
criterion-related validity of the school and the internal consistency reliability;(2) separation-individuation is an important predictor of identity status.Positive separation-individuation of identity plays a strong positive predictive role in obtaining the status of negative separation-individuation of identity diffusion.
