摘要

“眔”在先秦文献中当读来纽真部字，其“及”“暨”义者读若“邻”，音转若“连”，秦汉以后被“及”“暨”“逮（隶）”“连”等字同义替换。其哀怜义者与“鳏”、“矝（矜）”通假，在秦汉以后的传世典籍中被“矝（矜）”、“鳏”、“怜”等字假借替换。“鳏”“矝”也都是来纽真部字，秦汉以后读古顽切、居陵切（或巨巾切）者，乃流变所致，均非其本音。

Abstract

In the documents of Pre-Qin Period

"Da" was pronounced as "lin" when having the meaning of "ji" (which means "and")

and then was pronounced as "lian". After the Qin and Han Dynasties

it was substituted by "ji" (with the second tone)

"ji" (with the fourth tone)

"li" or "lian". When having the meaning of "being miserable"

the phonetic loan character of "Da" is "guan". In the documents after the Qin and Han Dynasties

"Da" is substituted by the phonetic loan characters: "guan" and "lian". Some of the phonetic loan characters of "guan" are pronounced differently for various reasons.
