Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up

the modernization of social governance in China has been developing faster and faster. And related research has emerged endlessly. By sorting out the papers collected by "CNKI" in the past 40 years

it is found that the number of papers on social governance research has risen rapidly after the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee. There are many views on social governance both in practice and academia

but the use of its concept and connotation overlaps. At present

there are more than 60 different social governance formulations

which can be roughly divided into six categories: government-led type

consultative and cooperative type

preventive and predictive type

mobile and integrated type

emotional and inclusive type and the type of task-event. In the future

social governance practice may pay more attention to the cultural

emotional and psychological aspects. At the same time

with the increase of global and liquidity governance

pluralistic and consultative co-governance and co-shared governance

preventive and predictive governance will become the focus of attention.
