the Testing Ode in the Imperial Examination of Tang&Song Dynasties had its own distinctive features.Firstly

it was the Ontology of Ode

how to write Ode.It was also an aspect of argument on the ancient verse style of Ode.Secondly

it was the relation between Ode and Imperial Examination.There was a continual debate between the Literature Schools and Confucian-classic Schools on the views of the Testing Ode in the Imperial Examination.As the debate going on

it became the Cabal’s Scramble from the literature debate.The relation between Ode and politics became more and more significant.In this paper

I’ll make a brief discussion on these two aspects.
