Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee clearly put forward that to promote the modernization of national governance capacity and governance system
we must adhere to and improve the socialist administrative system with Chinese characteristics
and build a governance system with clear responsibilities and administration according to law. In order to objectively understand hotspots and development trend of researches on governance in China and provide intellectual support for governance practice
CiteSpace V software is used in this research on 511 documents about governance in CSSCI database(2000-2019)
to draw the keyword co-occurrence knowledge map
the keyword co-occurrence clustering knowledge map and the keyword co-occurrence time zone view map. Through interpreting the knowledge maps and reading relevant articles
it is found that researches on governance in China have gone through the foundation stage from 2000-2005
the development stage from 2006-2012 and the innovation stage from 2013-2019. The current researches focus on three themes: governance and identification of its concepts
governance mode and governance innovation. With the change of times and the governance environment
the construction of social governance community
the application of big data + governance
and the updating of governance evaluation mode will become new research hotspots.
