The structural reform of politics is an important task in the system of socialist reform. It can relieve the social contradiction and carry social development forward. Its basic purpose is to build the socialist democratic politics. To attain this purpose

we must finish three assignments as follows. The first one is to reform the structure of highly centralized political management and build the system of democratic control. The second is to reform and perfect the structure and mechanism of the political authority

and to stop corruption. The third is to remould the small producers’ mentality and perform people’s political behaviour.
