It has been 15 years since the two masterpieces about history of Chinese books collection——China’s Libliotheca and China’s History of Books Collection were published in 2001. The history study of Chinese books collection has made further progress during this period. Firstly

facilitating books collection history studies. Secondly

regional books collection culture presented an impressive sight and thus brought about fruitful relevant researches.Thirdly

private books collection was still the focus of studies and great achievements has been made

such as the publishment of Fan Fengshu’s Book named The History of China’s Private Books Collection and various progress in thematic studies

regional studies and periodical studies about private books collection. Fourthly

official books collection study has also made a certain progress. Fifthly

scholars have advanced exploration in ideas and culture of books collection with satisfying achievements as a result.
