During the last years of Liang Dynasty

since Hou-jing started his rebellion and Jiang-ling Regime was destroyed

soon set up the Chen Dynasity. On the other hand

a lot of people were killed and some were forced to move to the south

so there were numbers of scholars living in the Northern Dynasties

and these scholars living in north all had to bear the mentality of staying long in a strange land because of the facts of losing their nation and their families

and living in strange land. Being not identified as one of the whole by the governors of the Northern dynasties

the mentality of staying long in a strange land not only influenced these scholars’ outlook on life

but also changed their value.
