Abstract

The relationship between congressmen and voters is directly related to their performance.Through the study of suggestions put forward by the NPC deputies in the fifth session of the eleventh NPC in Anhui province

we can find that the increased number of suggestions shows the enhancement of awareness and capacity of the NPC deputies’political participation

and also reflects our country’s democratic progress. However

on the whole

the quality of these suggestions is poor

distribution is not reasonable

and lack of representation. So the NPC Deputy Electoral System should be reformed and optimized to enhance representative and democracy of the NPC deputies.
