The paper studies the evolutionary process of China’s urbanization since the economic reform

watches the development trace of urbanization accompanied by China’s economic growth

and gives a reasonable judgment of future development direction of urbanization in China.The author thinks that non-equilibrium development of China’s urbanization show that urbanization models in China are faced with a significant and integral change

the direction of which is the interaction and amalgamation of the two urbanization models:"leave the land but not the countryside"model and"leave the countryside but not the land"model.Such a change is the corollary of social and economic transformation

and has special meaning for China

which is experiencing the structure renovation.
