Proletarian revolutionary literature in Lu Xun’s mind is distinctly different from the Creation Society and the Taiyang Society. It is also different from Mao Dun’s opinion. These differences exist in five aspects. First of all
Lu Xun understands the formation of proletarian revolutionary literature from his vision of building up harmonious country. Then
he emphasizes that proletarian revolutionary literature should be created by proletariat. Thirdly
he hates speculative behavior and stress on reality. Moreover
he praises rebellious spirit and also appeals for cherishing life. Last but not least
he pays much attention on the introduction of foreign literature.
