Though empirical analysis on five kinds of social conflict between rich and poor
officials and common people
work and salary
public and government
classes using Chinese social development and social construction questionnaire data conducted by School of Sociology and Political Science Shanghai University from 2012 to 2013 aiming to 5745 residents from 6 provinces
we found Chinese residents feel severe about the rich and poor conflict
officials and common people conflicts
work and salary conflicts. In order to relieve or eliminate different kinds of social conflicts
we give corresponding suggestions
such as narrowing the gap between the rich and poor
standardizing the selection mechanism of officials
improving and strengthening the effects of labor union
perfecting mechanisms for reporting on complaints
facing the difference between classes
and aligning the interests of different class through cooperation
