Sino Soviet negotiation in 1945 is an important diplomatic activity in the history of Sino Soviet Relations. As the top decision-maker of China
Chiang Kai-Shek has long thought about the development of Sino Soviet relations and the formulation of Sino Soviet negotiation policy. Based on the diaries of Chiang Kai-Shek and other historical materials
this paper clearly shows Chiang Kai-shek’s consideration on the Sino Soviet negotiations in 1945
including his thoughts on Xinjiang problem
northeast problem
CPC and Outer Mongolia. Chiang Kai-shek's consideration on the Sino Soviet negotiations reflected his national defense strategy
and his highest goal was to safeguard China’s sovereignty
independence and territorial integrity after the Second World War. Chiang’s consideration of the Sino Soviet negotiations also reflected his attempt to establish a neutral and balanced foreign policy to avoid the suspicion of the Soviet Union and the United States.
