“Using” is an important tradition that has been formed in the early period of Chinese literature, which is the reason why Fu was born. As an early literary genre in China, Fu comes from “using poetry” and has devoted to the cultural cognition and construction of “using poetry” and “using classics”. “Advocating Use” became one of the earliest theories in early Chinese literary criticism. From Ban Gu’s Liangdu Fuxu to Bai Juyi’s Fufu, they all advocate Fu as “the stream of ancient poetry” and advocate the use of righteousness “Wang Yan” to regain Three Generations of “Wang Dao” morality. In order to reveal the will of the imperial court and the state, Emperor Kang Xi decided to compile Lidai Fuhui, which is a great collection of “usable” endowed by the past dynasties, and a great gathering of “Wang Yan” in the past dynasties. It is directly related to the fate of nation and has enlightenment significance on the road of Chinese traditional culture revival.
