Guan Zhong in Tsinghua Bamboo Slip is the most specialized text to record Guan Zhong’s life in excavated document. It has important documentation value. The words in those bamboo slips talk about governing, learning, making friends, doing things through questions and answers between Duke Huan of Qi and Guan Zhong. Silk and bamboo slips manuscripts enlighten us to research the origin and division of early ancient context in dynamic view and cultural integration background. This paper compares inscriptions on bronze in Xi Zhou era, handed-down documents, bamboo slips of the Warring Dynasty and pre-Qin thinkers documents to summary the origins of Guan Zhong and division of different academic genres from historical and synchronic aspects. The conclusion is that the context of Guan Zhong has different origins. Guan Zhong in Tsinghua Bamboo Slip belongs to Chu bamboo slip which reflects communications regions and cultural interaction of early Guan Zhong’s thinkings.
