Studies of the Chinese civilization in the last century was generally carried out within the western civilization theoretical framework

which generated many misunderstandings. A hundred years of archaeological excavations in China and two hundred years of archaeological excavations in the West have proved that there are many differences between the Chinese civilization and the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations in origin

form and characteristics. Moreover

the Chinese civilization also embodies the morphological characteristics of ancient civilizations in the Pacific rim

while the ancient Greek civilization embodies the morphological characteristics of ancient civilizations in the Mediterranean rim. With the guidance of Marxist historical materialism and adhering to the "two combinations"

studying deep into the morphological characteristics of the Chinese civilization will not only provide strong theoretical support for the "new form of human civilization" created by socialism with Chinese characteristics

but also provide the mode of Chinese civilization and plans with Chinese wisdom for future development of the human society

which is of great significance.
