Indigenization of China’s Social Work: Politics, Culture and Practice
In the past 30 years since the restoration and reconstruction of China’s social work
indigenization has been the core issue
which is related to the development trajectory of China’s social work. Political connection
cultural sensation and practice introspection are three factors of China’s social work Indigenization. The contexts of the development of Chinese social work are quite different from those in western countries. This essay aims to explore the political
cultural and practice factors justify indigenization of China’s social work.
