This paper discusses systematically about the relationship between Emperor Taizu of Song’s relatives such as his parents

sons

daughters

brothers

sisters and politics in early Song Dynasty based on collecting

summarizing and textual researching relative document literature of Song Dynasty. Moreover

this paper also discusses the relationship between royal family and ordinary love. The conclusion is that Emperor Taizu of Song is possibly the most intelligent emperor to deal with the relationship between family and country under traditional family-country system. This rescues Song Dynasty from chaotic years in so called Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms and creates regulating the family and ruling the state model.
