摘要

“歐陽脩”的名字，在繁体字系统中应该统一作“脩”，明清时期有的古籍版本将欧公名字误改为“修”，其后讹谬相承，直至当代。已有学者指出欧公的名字应纠正作“脩”。但在简化字文本中，改“脩”为“修”仍是合理的。一种意见主张在简化字文本中作“欧阳脩”，有违用字规范，并不可取。故应约定在今后出版的书籍和发表的论文中，欧公的姓名在繁体字文本中一律作“歐陽脩”，在简化字文本中一律作“欧阳修”。

Abstract

Xiu (脩)

the name of Ouyang Xiu the great poet and stateman of the Song Dynasty should be unified as脩in the traditional Chinese character system. Some ancient books in the Ming and Qing dynasties mistakenly changed 脩to 修. The mistake has been passed down to today. Scholars have pointed out that it should be corrected. However

in the simplified character system

it is still reasonable to change 脩to 修. The opinion advocating 脩for the name of Ouyang Xiu in the simplified character system violates the principle for character choice and therefore is not desirable. So it should be stipulated that in future publications

the name of Ouyang Xiu is always 脩in traditional Chinese text and 修in simplified Chinese text.
