the perfection of the literature of the Shang and Zhou dynasties can be seen in the chapters of

Zongjing

. The evaluation of the literature of the Shang and Zhou dynasties is one of the important views of Liu Xie’s theses

which is in line with Liu Xie’s idea that both elegance and plainness matter. Therefore

sheng

" should be interpreted as "comparable to" .
