The mobility of teachers not only characterizes the reorganization and reconstruction of educational resources brought about by changes in social structure
but also reflects the intention and trajectory of teachers as actors with the imbalance of urban and rural resources. Taking teachers’ mobility as an entry point
this article focuses on the lives and shows the daily images of migrant teachers and outlines the logic of actions and survival strategies behind the mobility of teachers. The study finds that although migrant teachers can leap into cities
they present multiple marginal situations in their career
organizational life and daily life. Hometowns that cannot be returned to and cities that are difficult to integrate into have jointly shaped their lives as strangers.
